Our Story
Home Grown in Casper.
LifeTime Health & Fitness isn’t part of the big Life Time chain — and never has been. We’re home grown by local Casper natives, and we’ve been growing with this town since 1997.
Locally Owned
Not the Chain. Never Was.
Part of the big Life Time chain?
No — home grown in Casper
People ask if we’re part of the big Life Time Fitness chain. No!
We are home grown by local Casper natives. Nobody tells us what to do but us — and you. We try to buy local and use local, member-owned businesses for everything we need.
That’s not a slogan. It’s why this page exists: when you know the owners, the club answers to Casper, not to a corporate office somewhere else.
1997 — Today
How We Got Here
- 1997
A sales office in the mall
LifeTime first opened its doors in 1997 in the Eastridge Mall — a small sales office preparing for the grand opening of our first real facility.
- 1998May 1
Phase 1 opens
Our 38,000 sq ft facility opens its doors, offering cardio, weights and massage. Casper showed up — and kept showing up.
- 2000
The pools
Our pool facility opens: a 25-yard lap pool and a warm water pool. (They’re saltwater today — gentler on your skin, at about half the salinity of tears.)
- 2004July
Phase 2
Another 55,000 sq ft: racquetball, basketball, a running track, a golf center, and a lot more room to train. LifeTime grows into the club Casper knows today.
- 2010Feb
RedHot Yoga
A pilot class for RedHot Yoga runs in the original yoga studio. Infrared lighting to heat a yoga studio was a brand new concept.
- 2011Oct
CrossFit307 affiliation
The functional training movement begins in a 3,000 sq ft space — the space that grew into the 9,000 sq ft home of 307 Athlete today.
- 2012Jan
Studio 4 — a new RedHot experience
The bigger, hotter studio opens for more yoga.
- 2014Sep
Pilates
Pilates reformers are introduced.
- 2024Jan
The Turf Room
A 100′ turf track, more equipment, more racks, more space.
- Since then
Still growing
The evolution hasn’t stopped: 307 Athlete strength & conditioning, RedHot Pilates, new training spaces — each addition started the same way, with members asking for it.
A Very Casper Detail
The Seal by the Front Door
5,280.2 feet above sea level.
That’s LifeTime’s elevation — and there’s a seal in the floor by the front door to prove it. Maybe you didn’t ask, but we think it’s cool. It’s a very Casper kind of detail: a mile high, measured to the tenth of a foot, and set in the floor where everybody walks past it.
(Also handy: the whole building is just under 100,000 sq ft, and LifeTime is about 90,000 of it — the largest fitness floor in Casper, built in phases by the people who run it.)

Philosophy
How We Run the Place
Our philosophy has always been to give our members all the tools and the best chance to succeed in fulfilling their goals.
We take pride in having the best equipment and the cleanest facility possible. Over the years we’ve hired and trained an incredible staff dedicated to professional, positive customer service — and attracted the most qualified trainers, nutritionists and instructors we could find, so members get the highest quality instruction and training possible.
The Owners
Run by People from Here
Jeremy & Leah DavisBorn & raised in Casper
LifeTime is managed by Jeremy & Leah Davis. Both were born and raised in Casper; each left the state for college, and both came back. They’re enthusiastic students of fitness, always looking for ways to make the club a better overall experience for everyone.
When something changes at LifeTime, it isn’t a corporate memo. It’s a decision made by people who live here, work out here, and answer to their neighbors.
The Future Is Bright
The future is bright at LifeTime, and in the LifeTime community — with plenty of changes and additions in the works. We’ll never quit growing and changing to make our members’ experiences great.
Come see what 29 years of home-grown looks like.
