What sparked your desire to become a personal trainer?
I’ve always loved health and fitness and I pursued becoming a personal trainer because I believe fitness can be a powerful tool for transformation—inside and out. God used my own health journey to show me that caring for our bodies is an act of worship and stewardship. My passion is helping others discover strength, confidence, and healthy habits that allow them to live fully and serve well.

What is your fitness background?
My fitness background is rooted in a lifelong personal journey of health and fitness. I’ve been training clients since 1996 and am certified in personal training, nutrition, life coaching, and wellness. This well rounded approach allows me to come alongside people at every stage of life; helping them build strength, confidence, and sustainable habits that lead to lasting change.

What is the best or most valuable exercise in the gym?
There isn’t one magic exercise—there’s a short list of movement patterns that matter most; Squat, Hinge (deadlift), Push, Pull, Carry, Rotate / brace. Train these well, and you train for life, not just the gym.

What is your favorite movie?
Field of Dreams is a favorite—faith, obedience, and trusting the journey.

The most important book I’ve read is the Bible. It grounds me in truth, reminds me of grace, and shapes the way I help others pursue health and a full, meaningful life.

What is your top hobby or passion outside of the gym?
Time with family and close friends. Relationships fuel me and remind me why health and quality of life matters.
