What sparked your desire to become a trainer?
Dealing with health issues for years, eventually learning I have an autoimmune disease, completely changed my relationship with my body - and with food. It led me down a path of self improvement and overall wellness, falling in love with weight training and nutritional science. Since 2014, I have had the privilege of helping others take charge of their health.

What is your fitness background?
I have my Master Trainer Certification through ISSA, which comprises of six certifications: Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, DNA based coaching, Bodybuilding, and Glute specialist.

What is the best or most valuable exercise in the gym?
I believe everyone is different and needs a tailored approach with programming, and that there isn’t just one exercise for every body. That being said, I do favor all of the core compound lifts in different variations for each client, with deadlifts being at the top of my list!

What is your favorite movie?
Either For Love of the Game, or Father of the Bride.

What is the most important book you’ve read?
The Holy Scriptures

What is your top hobby or passion outside the gym?
Music - specifically singing, and my family.
