ALLI
What sparked your desire to become a trainer?
I was already in the fitness world when I realized how much I loved helping people hit their goals, and that’s why I wanted to get certified. My clients constantly motivate me to keep learning and researching!
What is your fitness background?
I’ve always been active and grew up dancing, earning an Associate of Arts degree in Dance. I started working and teaching fitness classes in 2012. I’m ACE certified as a Personal Trainer and Health Coach, hold an Associate of Science degree in Nutrition, and I’ve earned certifications in Zumba, Insanity, BodyPump, and Barre. I’m currently working on a fitness nutrition specialty.
What is the best or most valuable exercise in the gym?
There really isn’t one “best” exercise — it depends on the person, their goals, and what keeps them motivated. No exercise works as a stand-alone, you have to mix it up. But if I had to pick one, I’d say a full burpee (you know… the one with the push-up) because it uses your entire body and combines strength, cardio, core, and stability.
What is your favorite movie?
I love a lot of movies, and my favorite changes all the time. Now if we were talking about a TV series, Friends is my all-time favorite.
What is the most important book you’ve read?
I don’t have just one most important book, but I love learning and picking up new perspectives — especially anything related to health, fitness, mindset, and personal growth.
What is your top hobby or passion outside of the gym?
My favorite hobby is summer and everything that comes with it — boating, camping, wakesurfing, and playing with my pups at the lake.
